What is the spotlight performance experience?
Spotlight Performers get exclusive access to perform in front of an audience with a LIVE band and DIRECT feedback from a panel of Grammy-winning artists and Record Label Executives after their performance. This experience includes a clinic with our band and Music Director, rehearsal, live band support and performance coaching. The last 4 nights of VocalizeU, there is a live concert put on in the theatre with our house band. Each song will be performed with a live band.
You get the opportunity to workshop originals in a live setting or perform your go to's while learning to work with a live band. You also get to showcase your talent to your peers and on site mentors.
You will be performing for VU Mentors who are industry pros, Grammy Award Winning and nominated artists, managers, songwriters, etc. who will give you feedback about your performance, stage presence, song choice, and offer encouragement.
You'll come to VU with your song picked and perfected.

Dress to impress! Pictures and videos will be taken during your performance. Please wear something that you are comfortable wearing and no overly revealing clothing. You are the STAR, so bring your best outfit!
